Marmalade Skies

As a child I was always intrigued with Beatle phrases such as "tangerine trees and marmalade skies". I think the whimsical aspect of Beatle music has influenced my art more than I know.

Anyone have any good marmalade recipes?

My mom loved marmalade, but I never liked it . . . so . . sorry no recipes from me!

To be honest...I'm not sure if I've ever had it to know if I like it or not. Hmmm...

I love marmalade, the coarser cut the better! That slightly bitter taste interspersed with an almost syrup kind taste - oh I want some! I have better find my mum's old recipes as the orange season is coming up soon. It is hard work making it though. Nothing like it on toast or with blue cheese, on the bread in a bread and butter pudding, in a (very grown up) Victorian sponge covered in a mascarpone cream icing with a bit of whisky added to it. As you can tell I can use marmalade for almost everything under the sun ;-D
