Thanksgiving has come and gone and Christmas is drawing near.  Now my life is filled with desserts from near and far.  Oh, how to control the temptations?

I can't believe that Thanksgiving is less than three weeks away and the baking season is upon us. This is one of my favorite past cake illustrations. Maybe someday I can cross the illustration barrier and taste a bit of my blue frosting.

Gnome Sweet Gnome

I can't believe that July is almost over...and even more suprising is that I've drawn my last foodie gnome. Thanks for joining me this month as I explored the culinary arts of these little guys.

Today my high school art teacher, Mrs. Kapraun, is retiring. I wanted to dedicate this post to her for being so inspiring and supportive.
