Rice Krispies Treats

Mildred Day, a 1928 graduate of Iowa State University in Home Economics, invented the Rice Krispies Treat as a fundraiser for the Camp Fire Girls.  She was an employee of Kellogg at the time.

Cereal & Sliced Bananas

A special treat for me is sliced bananas in my morning cereal.  Here they are on a postcard and fabric. I was in a retro mood that day.

C is for Corn Flakes

I was going to simply draw "cereal" for "C", but then someone suggested I illustrate corn flakes. Here you go. Thanks to Jenni B. for the idea!

Cereal All Day

Last week I was sick at home a couple of days. The only thing I could eat was cereal. For two days I filled my bowl with cocoa pebbles and just enjoyed the chocolate, milk and quiet...as much as I could with a sore throat and chills.
