Honey and Peaches Ice Cream

Today I'm sharing a wonderful dessert from Anna at Blondie's Cakes & Things...Honey and Peaches Ice Cream.  Have I ever mentioned that I loooove ice cream?  This is triple threat with the added natural sweets. You can find the recipe here.

Eskimo Pie

Christian Kent Nelson, a school teacher and candy store owner, invented the Eskimo Pie in 1920 in Onawa, Iowa.  His inspiration?  A young boy who was unable to decide between ice cream and a chocolate bar while visiting his store.

Strawberries and Honey on Ice Cream

Very simple and very yummy. The honey with the strawberries adds a nice touch. Vanilla or strawberry ice cream would suffice.

Ice Cream by Candle Light

I had a very special moment with my eight-year-old daughter last night. She requested we have rootbeer floats on the front porch together...with candlelight. She lit the candles and I asked the mosquitoes to stay away. Together we sipped and chatted. {sold}

Royal Sweetness

After several months of this you will find out over and over again that I love ice cream. I just want to simply declare my love for this royal sweetness today without getting into favorite flavors and combinations. Those will follow in future posts. Its surprising my first mention of ice cream is one month into this project and not sooner!
