THE YELLOW MEAL

Today's word as part of The August Break is YELLOW.  I originally thought of sharing some of my favorite yellow plants, but I just couldn't get this one special memory out of my head. When my daughter was four or five she loved mixing her macaroni and cheese with her corn, then proudly called it the yellow meal.  Oddly, a local restaurant now has a side dish with these two ingredients.  Maybe she was onto something.

Cheesecake

Ah, I love cheesecake, so just had to smear it all over a card.  You can find the postcard here.

Bacon & Eggs

My favorite meal of the day is breakfast, so I had to throw in some bacon and eggs.  This is available as a postcard and fabric.

Pear + Plate

Nothing too fancy here...just a plate covered in pears.

If you need fancy read this article from EmptyEasel.com on Living Creatively Everyday. Very inspiring...and we should all eat our dessert first once in awhile.

Q is for Quiche

I really need to learn how to make a quiche. I love them, but never indulge in this delicacy at home...it's always in a restaurant.

Bread and Pasta

I was so hungry last night. With our cupboards almost bare, spaghetti was one of the few items left to eliminate that pain. To make it more filling, I love it with bread and butter (b&b). Though I moderate the pasta and bread well, my son tends to weigh heavy on the latter. For him its a b&b dinner with some noodles on the side. {available}
