I do like pie, especially when you can sneak in a layer of cheesecake.

Dessert Season
Thanksgiving has come and gone and Christmas is drawing near. Now my life is filled with desserts from near and far. Oh, how to control the temptations?

Pear + Plate
Nothing too fancy here...just a plate covered in pears.

If you need fancy read this article from EmptyEasel.com on Living Creatively Everyday. Very inspiring...and we should all eat our dessert first once in awhile.

Blueberry Buckle
I've had an infatuation with blueberries lately, so had to share this recipe with you. Check it out at Eat, Knit, Grow. Just scroll down a little in the post when you get there - this recipe is towards the bottom.

Sweet
I want to thank all of you for entering my print giveaway contest! I'm overwhelmed with the response and am thrilled to share my art with you.How did I choose the winners? I wrote all your names on a piece of paper and let my daughter pick three (all fair and square). Her and I both agreed there were too many entries to pick just three, so we picked a bonus three. If your name is below, please contact me by clicking here.
WINNERS: Concurrer, StinaRie, Kate Sparks, Sandy Ellis, Leila, Emily (there were three Emily's, it's the one that commented "Foodie Love!")
If your name is not here, I have one more special: I'm offering two prints for the price of one through December 15. You can click here to find out more.
Thanks again for your enthusiasm. I might have to try this again soon.

Pear Tart
This image is inspired by a photo of a pear tart sent by fellow foodie, Chef Jack Garrison. His students often send him progress photos...this being one of them. Wish I could be in that class. {print available}

Four Slices of Pie
As I mentioned earlier this week, I love cherry pie. Here are four slices...though you can imagine any filling you'd like under this flaky crust.{print available}
